Miniature Golfing on the Hudson: Pier 25

Ella went mini golfing in Tribeca with a few friends for her birthday. A dream of hers. When it was all over, Owen told me he wanted to go hocking again. It took me a minute to realize he was combining the words "hockey" and "golfing". A perfect way to describe their sport.
Ever been hocking?

More hocking photos after the jump.

Toby: The littlest hocking player at the party. Such concern for the future of game!
Happy Birthday Ella!

  5. this looks like fun, and a great idea for a birthday party. When I was little, occasionally my dad would look after me and my little brother during the holidays, sometimes we'd take a train to a town about 45 minutes away and play on their crazy golf, it was always really exciting

  6. what a great birthday party! no mess to clean up, short enough to keep kids' attention, just pack a picnic lunch and you're good to go!

  7. Happy Birthday,Little E:) It's funny, C&I went "hocking" today!:) He LOVES it!! They had alligators at this mini golf place! We could feed them for a couple of bucks but I just couldn't get myself to feed a gator. We were always taught not to do it. It was crazy seeing all the gators all of the place (they were in a pond, fenced in) while we played. The whole theme of the mini golf place was Pirate Ships:) It was really cute!:) Glad she had a great b-day:) Wish we could have been there to celebrate her special day!

  10. Wow! Looks like the kids enjoyed the mini golf game! I remember my dad when he first taught me how to play golf in mill pond golf, that day has so much to remember.

  11. I’m sure the new parents support group nyc would love to witness events like these. Watching your child in the field and interacting with other children makes a mom happy.
