Many Upper Westsideres love to go trick-or-treating on 69th Street, others adore 95th Street, but I don't. Those streets start too late (6pm) and are too crowded. I like to celebrate Halloween in Harlem. Fredrick Douglas and 139th to be exact. It's a slower paced, more charming Halloween experience. We started around 5:00pm, went to every door that had an orange balloon, ended an hour later, ordered a pizza, then watched a scary DVD with our cousins. My kids looked scary but were happy and had TONS of candy. The perfect Halloween balance. Hope you had a Happy Halloween!

I live on a street in Astoria with lots of homes mixed with a few apartment buildings and poor kids just ring and ring until they find a place that'll bite. Most of them end up trick-or-treating in the local businesses for candy, which I find sort of sad. Maybe I'll tie an orange balloon to my door next year:)

I want to say a big thanks to lord aguma for everything so far.To everyone who doesn’t believe in spell, I was one of those once at first. ReplyDeleteMy wife and I have been married for 15 years. For over five years I have been dealing with jealousy issues because of flirting and her having emotional type affairs with other men.
