Kid Crafting Ideas Inspired from Literature

here's the gang reading Show Way. Looks like somebody need to get their eyes checked.
Last month I created a simple project for Elizabeth Street inspired by the Newbery Honor book Show Way. Have you read it? We love it! Read more about the paper quilt here. Outtake pictures below. I love when kids take crafting seriously.
Above is their finished product. It's NOT the one I featured as the finished product here on Elizabeth Street. haha.

  2. unrelated question, but is there a way to add you to my google reader? For the longest time I have just had all the blogs i like in a favorites folder and it's getting a little unruly so I'm trying to switch over, but when I search for your blog it doesn't come up. Is there a way to subscribe?

    1. Thanks so much Jessica for going through all this trouble :) I've been told this before--I'm not sure why it's not working. I just posted my question on a google forum--hopefully i can fix it soon! in the mean time here's the feed address that should work:

  3. I can't decide if I love this craft more or the fact that all three of your kids are wearing their shirts :)
