Just found this picture in the depths of my computer and immediately sent it off to CVS to get an 8x10 print. Those days were rough. Looking at this picture, I really have nothing to complain about now. Hooray for the aging process. God bless all Santas, toddlers, and older sisters this Christmas season.
Haha this is great. Love that you printed it as a reminder of how good it is now! I probably should put a middle school photo on my vanity for bad hair/face days. Could be worse!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh your sweet daughter. This will be perfect for their HS yearbook :)
ReplyDeleteYou are SuperMom, with a capital S and a capital M!
ReplyDeleteyou must be so zen, how else could you have three kids under three and stay sane?

I'd love it if you did a post on your hard earned tips or thoughts on raising identical twins. We have a 2.5 year old and two girls coming in April and I'm kind of panicking. My daughter has full on attention now and I'm feeling a little sorry for her because she has no idea what is about to happen! Of course, neither do I...
ReplyDeleteI was worried about that too. But I quickly learned I shouldn't have been. If toddlers aren't getting enough attention, they will let you know loud and clear. Remember they can walk, run, scream, cry, throw things if needs be. Babies have nothing on them. For the first year at least!
DeleteAh! That is me right now. Twins who are 2 should never be allowed. They should be born, then be 9mo., then be 4. I'm sitting here letting the day melt off me, curing my aches with a giant bowl of peppermint ice cream and hot fudge.
ReplyDeleteAwww. I hear you. Those years are a big blur for me. I still think I'm recovering. Whenever I'm feeling guilty for sitting around all day, I justify it with these pictures. haha
DeleteAh, Christmas. An extra 5 pounds around the belly, too much amber colored liquid around the family, and the arrival of 2013 MATCHING PJS! So much to look forward to. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteSuch a kind and patient looking Santa. Love everything about this photo.
ReplyDeleteOmph this cuts close. I have twin two year old boys. That picture is our life right now. I read your blog to find hope that the future will be better. I never thought there would be a day when I consistently wanted to punch small children in the face, but the day is nigh and the children are mine. Ugh. But I REALLY appreciate the sentiment that it gets better.
